It is New Year’s Eve! It marks an end to the year 2007, which also means that today, is the last day we are officially known as 209. However, this would not be the last post for our blog, 2o9`o7 Class Blog shall be here forever. http://tw0-nine.blogspot.com/ Unless Blogger closes down one day-which is highly impossible to happen within these few years.
You might only be reading this post on next year’s New Year’s Eve, but regardless of the time now (which implies to the future), bear in mind that you are once part of this class. And hope by then, you would still remember the 39 of us.
If you’re, by chance, reading this post at the present time I posted (which is 31st December 2007). Allow this post to accompany you for at least a few minutes. (depending on your reading speed :P)
Wherever you might be in the future, if ever(touchwood) you are feeling unhappy or lonely, remember to look at the bright side, stay optimistic, and continue moving on. You can even try your luck by coming back here, to this blog, and read whatever there is. Read back on our past posts and memories, reminisce those wonderful times you had with whoever, and it will sure make you feel better.
I personally read through the blog before posting this. I was dumb enough to be doing it with the companion of a sad song, so i really felt sad. Wherever you may be in the future, don't forget yourself. (Bu Yao Mi Shi Zi Ji) Live life properly, live it the right way, don't mix with bad company yeah? (Now i sound like a granny)
Anyway... ... the point is : We Are Seperating..
Two years is not a very long time, but it isn’t short either. Since it is the last day together we are known to be 209. Shall we at least try and recall the past?
Do you remember the first day when you stepped in the classroom? The first friend you made? The first impression we gave you? Do you remember how you were in the past? How dorky or innocent or curious you were?
Do you remember the first week of orientation? The orientation camp we had? Do you remember our home econs lesson? When we were still under the teaching of Mdm Vidya and Mrs Wong? Does the three letters NDP made a great impact on your life? Did it give you memories that were so deeply etched in your mind?
Do you still remember the whole chunk of scandal we all had? What about our class being the most notorious? That we ended up with Ms Lim Puay See, and Mr Liu Gong Kai. Do you remember the first day of sec 2? Did you remember the day Zhi Yong announce that he is going to Hong Kong?
Do you remember the road runs? The sports days and how we clinched the title ‘C Division Girls’ Champion’? Do you remember our netball and badminton interclass competitions? What about the VJ courses? At least you could recall the movies we went as a class? Spiderman 3, Mr Woodcock? Ring a bell?
Do you remember the history project we have each year? Our 90th anniversary dinner? Do you remember those China peeps entering our life for a few days? Did you study hard for the exams and all? Do you remember going to the leadership camp in Changi, having fun with your group members, coming back after the fun and collecting your report books and meeting your friends in school? And for those who were staying in the school, spending time with each other in class and visited a museum we went before?
Do you remember the first word you say when you saw the class allocation board? And our first and last chalet, the three days in Downtown East. Did these events really make your brain reverse time to the past?
What about our classmates? Do you still remember how they initially were?
Do you still remember Evelyn being our 1st chairman?
Cheuk Yiu was said to be the prettiest in sec 1?
Can you still remember the old hairstyles of Eng Jue and Jia Yi?
Xin Yuan used to be just quietly sitting at the back due to her height?
Do you remember the scene of Linda fighting in sec 1? Do you remember Isabelle when she still had long hair with a clip?
Did you expect Lilian to be carrying a middle-finger keychain around hanging on her pencil case?
Have you ever expected a Guzheng player like Min Jie to be our class’ sprinter?
Have you ever heard one of Jiaxin’s cheerful laughter?
Felicia and Lydia, always seen going to the toilet together for a period of time?
Do you remember that Michelle was actually transferred in?
Have you ever noticed Hui Qi’s straight teeth when she smiles?
Do Xin Hua and Hui San still give you the impression of a quiet little girl?
Were you influenced by June’s preference of music genre?
Can you still remember Mew Leng’s long hair and center parting?
Have you ever heard Ping Ting’s vocals?
Did you notice the skin colour difference between Unice and Amanda?
Is Benedict still that studious boy doing all of his homework?
Did you actually see Beonnan’s tears before?
Do you remember Kent flashing his red boxers in front of everyone in class?
Do you remember Wei Ming and Daryl in their old glasses?
Let’s all not forget the scene of Yu Yang covering his ears, screaming in class in his high-pitched voice.
Do you remember Zhi Wei being teased by the teacher because of his ‘sleepy’ look?
Did you have any idea how short Gary and Zhen Guo were?
Do you remember how does Si Kai’s old bag look like?
When was the first time you know ‘Johnson’ is Chong Han’s name too?
Can you still feel the presence of Zhi Yong?
Do you remember that day Ming Yuan was teaching us ACC?
Do you still remember Joseph’s messy table?
Don’t you remember how Zheng Wei introduced us the ‘roti-prata’ by spinning an object?
Do you realize that Samuel and Hong Han once had the same bowl-haircut?
Can you remember the times when Jun Wei did not used to pout his lips?
Are you still counting the amount of scandals Andrew had, or did you lost count?
LOL. Some may just be for the fun of it, so if it hurts you in any way, don't take it to heart yeah.
